I chose these boots as a replacement for a pair I bought last winter and in Dec this year they started to fall apart. So far I am pleased with the boots and like the new leaver device for releasing the grippers, a huge improvement on the last years model, which was useless. I found the grippers very useful when walking on icy streets last winter, though a bit difficult to engage and disengage for an older person, I had to find somewhere to sit before I could manage the procedure.
I am mainly writing the review to complete the store on their very quick response to my complaint about my old boots. I received a new pair within a week of contacting the store, no hassle and I had bought the original boots in a store in BC. Amazing service, thank you.
I bought these shoes on a trip to Quebec city in Nov 2023. They are warm and comfortable look forward tontrying thr anti slip grips that are attached to the bottom of the show when walking on icy roads this coming winter. The twonyoung ladies at the store were attentive and very friendly!!
